Discover Lenuta
I was born under the soft glow of the Romanian sky and given a name full of light — Lenuta (a diminutive of the Greek name Helene: "Light," "bright," "shining,"). Lenuta also carries the meaning of " Little Moon"

Now based in North East England, I paint delicate watercolours that reflect the moon’s calm beauty — soft, radiant, and full of magic.

Every moon I paint carries a little emotion and a little magic, an invitation to pause, dream and reconnect with natural passing of seasons.
My inspiration
The moon has always been my quiet guide — a source of calm, rhythm, and gentle wonder. Its phases remind me that everything moves in perfect cycles, bringing soft beauty and a glow that always returns. This is the heart of my work.

Influenced deeply by the moon’s serenity, my process is rooted in traditional watercolour painting. I paint effortlessly using delicate watercolours on cotton paper, letting the pigment flow freely across the page.
